We have been forming community here in the New Paltz/Kingston, New York area with our monthly Gatherings. This is about offering healing exchanges, networking, discussion groups and conducting Sacred Ceremony. It is about learning and growing, as well as being around like minded individuals. These circles are a good way for us to get the support we need in our lives for what we are trying to manifest at this time. We are shapeshifting our reality. We are stepping into "new" terrain here as we form bonds on this very loving and healing piece of land. We come together as strangers and depart as extended family. These groups are open to newcomers with some minor prerequisites. Please contact me for further information.

The role of the shaman is that of the conduit, or intermediary, between the worlds. When we step into a true shamanic circle, we step into the vibration of the Sacred. From this place outside everyday reality, harmony, vision and healing can occur. When we engage with the synchronistic aspect, we are opening to the world of the Living Energy. As we connect to the Divine, we change our consciousness. And as we change so do our families and communities as this consciousness radiates outward to everyone and everything. We change our world.

We enter sacred circle Friday evening at 7pm for a full weekend of shamanic immersion, ceremony and wisdom teachings. You will be participating in group work and experiential exercises. Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a back-jack or a pillow for sitting on the floor; drums, rattles, & sacred music makers; appropriate clothing for outdoor explorations; a personal sacred item and a journal. Most importantly, bring your open heart and mind.

Tues. Feb. 17: THE TRUE MEANING OF LOVE

Dear shamans, healers and devotees of a meaningful way of life. We'd like to invite you to a special night of connection, truth and significance.
Welcome to the meaning of True Love and the Truth of Love. This is to be our Valentines Meetup but we want to discuss and have an experience of something I'll bet you have never known before: Love. How audacious of me to suggest you know nothing about this topic! You know it's a four letter word that, truthfully, has a lot of connotations. But what does it really mean and how can we get some? Well, come and join us to find out.
We will explore the meaning of "Munay," as in the concept of Love as an Organizing Principle of the Universe. These words may mean nothing to us as westerners, but as the Andean people have known for thousands of years: we must source from Munay in order to live in balance with the universe. It's now due time that westerners start to embrace this simple, basic concept of life.
Plan for an evening of discussion, ceremony and shamanic journey. As usual, we will conduct ourselves from within the safe container of shamanic circle. We gather at 6pm and expect to finish by 9:30pm. Our donation is $15, with refreshments and snacks served. Personally, I have a craving for chocolate. You too are welcome to bring a favorite dish to pass if so inclined. Don't forget to rsvp if you plan to come so I can get a true head count. We hope to see you then.
